Dr. Danny Derby is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a doctorate in the field of human sexuality. As the founder and director of Cognetica - the Israeli Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, he has made significant contributions to the field of mental health and the advancement of cognitive behavioral therapy for ROCD and PTSD. Dr. Derby's expertise lies in the treatment of anxiety and OC spectrum disorders, PTSD and human sexuality. He has co-authored the book 'New Horizons in the Treatment of PTSD' with Prof. Patricia Resick and wrote numerous articles and book chapters on OCD, PTSD and human sexuality. His dedication to research and clinical interventions has led to the development of effective treatment strategies for relationship OCD and related phenomena. Dr. Derby's commitment to advancing the field of cognitive-behavioral therapy is evident through his leadership roles in various professional organizations. In recent years he co-founded with Adi Cohen the Eevidence based and clinical excellence school of psychotherapy that offers advanced training for professionals.
Prof. Guy Doron is a Senior Lecturer at the New School of Psychology, Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya. Prof Doron has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology that was completed magna cum laude and a BA (Honours) in Psychology completed with a High Distinction at the University of Melbourne, Australia. At the University of Melbourne, he has also completed a PhD and a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology).
Prof. Doron is the founding director of the Relationship Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Research Unit (ROCD-RU; ROCD.net) and has been actively researching Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related phenomena since the year 2000. His clinical experience includes working in hospitals, clinical research centers and as a private practitioner. These activities have led to an extensive knowledge and understanding of OCD, anxiety, depression and related phenomena as well as a growing number of publications in these areas.
Dr. Ariel Ayalon is a Social Psychologist, Ben Gurion University graduate. Ariel is the founder of the Midgam Project which enables people to test themselves on wide array of Psychological tests and questionnaires, and with Dr. Guy Doron he is also the founder of Niturix which enables therapists to monitor and assess psychological treatments.
